MondoSearch 5.4 is the most comprehensive search application on the market. Built as a stand-alone web-search engine, it builds statistics of searches, both successful and those that return few or no results. It also monitors how users click through results, and where they end up. This information can then be leveraged

Key Features
Extensive Language Support
When crawling, MondoSearch automatically determines the languages used on each page. This enables the user to specify in which language(s) the results should be presented. MondoSearch supports and indexes 37 languages.
Fully Categorized Results
MondoSearch supports fully categorized searches, allowing users to search within category groups, as well as navigate results using Facetted Search. Build categories based on meta-data already included on the pages you index, or meta-data created by the Content Optimizer.
Hosted or Stand-Alone
MondoSearch can be delivered as a stand-alone solution installed and running on your systems, or it can be hosted by us with full security and support for authentication and remote statistics and admin management.
Ranking Control
Use custom ranking meta-tags you can push pages up or down in the search result list. The improved or degraded ranking of documents can either be activated by specific terms or the ranking can affect a page in general.
Behaviour Match
BehaviorTracking learns from previous users. It automatically generates synonym search alternatives based on previous users search terms. The alternative suggestions are listed in BehaviorTracking as well as sent to InformationManager, in which synonyms are easily setup. You have to approve the synonyms suggested by BehaviorTracking before they are employed - to ensure the quality.
Search Trends
The feature tracks the 100 most-used terms and shows the terms whose popularity has most increased during each date span and one that shows the terms whose popularity has most decreased. Both are sorted with the fastest-moving terms at the top.
Expectation Maps
By analyzing what your users seem to expect and comparing this to how you intend the site to be used, you can make intelligent decisions about how to fine-tune the organization of your site, your site’s profile on the Internet (e.g., in banners and at the various global site engines and indexes) and the way your search functionality works.
Search Headers
You can emphasize information, linking a picture or an icon to it and have it displayed on top of the regular search results. Using Search Headers promotes products, services and information and effectively targets visitors' attention with little effort
Synonyms and BehaviorMatch
If a search fails to produce results, a synonym feature suggests search terms that have similar meanings to the user's original query. Synonyms can also be automatically included in the searches. The Behaviour Match feature will suggest alternative search words based on how previous users rephrased unsuccessful searches that used the same words.
Translate filters/ fielded searches
Streamline meta-tags without interfering with the actual web site pages. This ability can also be used to make fielded searches (e.g. searching for authors, specific dates or exclusion of specific words) utilizing the MondoSearch .NET interface.
